Dr. Maureen Hollinshead

Veterinarian DVM, CCRT

Dr. Maureen Hollinshead graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. She worked in Northwest Calgary for over ten years at Tuscany Veterinary Hospital and Boutique. Dr. Hollinshead currently works at Parkdale Veterinary Clinic, which she took  ownership of in January 2019.  She recently completed her canine rehabilitation certificate and is passionate about pet rehabilitation and dental procedures. In Dr. Maureen's spare time, she spends time with her husband, 2 boys, and Wilson, her Irish Wolfhound!

Corinne Smith

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, Corinne graduated from the University of Guelph in 2013 from the Honours Biological Sciences Degree with a Nutrition Minor, in hopes of potentially going to the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph to become a veterinarian. Corinne realized that becoming a veterinary technologist was the profession she was passionate about and went back to college at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Corinne graduated from the Veterinary Technologist Program at Algonquin College in 2016. Soon after finishing college, she moved to Calgary to live with her husband, Allan. She has previously worked in emergency medicine and a companion animal practice before joining the Parkdale Veterinary Clinic team in January 2019. Corinne maintains her registered veterinary technologist status qualification through continuing education to strengthen her professional and client communication skills. She has also completed the Penn Foster Veterinary Practice Management course. Corinne enjoys dentals, nutritional consultations, and strengthening the relationships between clients and their pets. She has a black cat named Sergeant Firstclass Mow Mow of Fluffyville the Third Esq. In her spare time, she enjoys running in the mountains, camping, baking, and spending time with her husband and friends.

Heather Pufahl

Veterinary Office Assistant

Heather has always had a love for animals! When the time arose for a change in careers, Heather jumped at the opportunity.  She enrolled in the Bow Valley College Veterinary Office Assistant program in Calgary. After graduating, Heather became a part of the Parkdale team in 2022! Heather loves interacting with clients and forming lasting relationships with clients and their pets.  In her spare time, she enjoys getting outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her husband, kids, 2 goats, horse, 4 dogs and cat.
